What you'll do
As our Casual Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), you’ll provide high-quality services to families experiencing post-separation conflict who need assistance reaching agreements on parenting arrangements or resolving issues related to finances and property settlement. Services include risk screening and assessment, preparation for family dispute resolution, and mediating joint sessions using specialized approaches including Child Inclusive Practice.
You will provide information to clients about separation, counseling, and legal processes, and make referrals as required. Your work will be guided by the Family Law Act and Regulations as they relate to your role.

* Based in Bathurst
* Casual role with flexible hours
* $46 - $52 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + 30% casual loading + 11.5% super, and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take-home pay! Calculate Your Savings at )

What you'll bring
* Accreditation with the Australian Government Attorney General’s Department Register of Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners is essential
* A tertiary background in Law, Social Sciences, Social Work, or Mediation/Dispute Resolution
* Demonstrated high-level skills in family dispute resolution, including assessments and mediation interventions
* Demonstrated ability to work in a child-focused approach
* Strong understanding of relationship dynamics, domestic and family violence, child safety, trauma-informed practice, diversity awareness, and mental health and wellbeing
