Rates:
$110 - $130 per hour (inc. super)

The Funding and Disclosure Reform Program was established to enable the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to implement and administer legislative amendments to the Commonwealth Funding and Disclosure Scheme (the Scheme) as set out in Part XX of the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918 (Electoral Act) to increase transparency and accountability in Australia's electoral system. The Program is made up of three branches – the Program Management Office Branch, the Regulatory Enablement Branch, and the Technology Delivery Branch – that will work together to uplift the AEC's regulatory capability by designing, building and implementing new processes, resourcing, tools, systems and technology to successfully administer the Scheme

.The AEC is seeking to engage up to three suitably qualified and experienced Infrastructure Engineer who will be cruical for ensuring the efficient, automated, and reliable deployment of integration solutions across the AEC's diverse enterprise application landscape. The role requires developing efficient, scalable, and secure integration solutions and APIs that connect the AEC's systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to support these systems through testing, quality assurance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. The Infrastructure Engineer in the Systems and Platforms Team is central to ensuring the efficient, automated, and reliable deployment of integration solutions across the AEC's diverse landscape of enterprise applications

* o:Collaborating with System Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to design and develop integration solutions that meet business requirements and technical constraints, utilising Microsoft Azure tools like App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bu
* s.Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality APls ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security. Managing API versions effectively, ensuring backward compatibility and seamless transitions between version
* s.Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for integration component
* s.Troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solution
* s.Conducting code reviews. Planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to verify the reliability, accuracy, and performance of integration solution
* s.Monitoring performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimising for speed, scalability, and efficienc
* y.Maintaining detailed documentation of solutions, including technical specifications and deployment procedures. Documenting API endpoints, authentication methods, and usage examples, to ensure ease of use for internal and external developer
* s.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system analysts, integration testers, and other stakeholders to align DevOps practices with project goals and timelines, fostering a culture of collaboratio
