Housekeeper for a Mermaid Beach residence
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Housekeeper to support a beautiful family residence in Mermaid Beach. This long-term, part-time opportunity is ideally suited to an individual who takes pride in their work, and enjoys maintaining an impeccably presented, organised, and seamlessly run home.
Key responsibilities will include comprehensive housekeeping, laundry care, household organisation, and occasional light meal preparation, along with general household support as required. This role would particularly suit a candidate with prior experience in private residences or luxury service environments who understands the importance of consistency, attention to detail, and refined service.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organisation and presentation throughout the home
* Daily housekeeping and general upkeep
* Laundry and linen care
* Occasional basic meal preparation for the family
* Light assistance with the family dogs when required (mini schnauzer and golden cocker spaniel)
* Occasional support with household administration and ad-hoc tasks and errands
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a simple house manual
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a private household, luxury residence or 5-star / super-yacht environment
* Strong housekeeping and laundry background
* Friendly, professional and well-presented
* Able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable looking after dogs
* Trustworthy, efficient and well organised
* Valid Police check and WWCC essential
* First Aid / CPR certification required
* Excellent, contactable references
* Full working rights in Australia
Job Conditions
* Part-time position: 20-25 hours per week
* Monday to Friday hours only
* Some flexibility for the right candidate
