Your new role as Career Medical Officer: Strong growth and expansion of services has generated the need for additional medical cover on our Rehabilitation Ward, in a permanent part-time or casual capacity.
Responsibilities
Provide medical cover on the Rehabilitation Ward as a Ward CMO in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team; participate in patient assessment, management, and escalation as required; support clinical governance and quality improvement within rehabilitation services.
Essential criteria / Qualifications
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
* Understanding of Rehabilitation Model of Care.
* Ability to identify deviations in diagnostic results and to appropriately act/manage and notify VMO accordingly.
* Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience adequate to undertake the roles required of a Ward CMO.
* Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health.
* Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights required.
* Experience with hospital computer data systems and relevant applications.
* Previous private hospital experience and/or Medical & Rehabilitation experience.
