As an APS 6 Business Intelligence Team Leader within either the Smart Buyer Team or the Independent Assurance Review Team, you will proactively lead a small team in a fast paced, service oriented environment. Your ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide tailored, high quality advice to senior executives will be critical to success.
You will oversee and contribute to a range of activities, including Smart Buyer or Independent Assurance Review program coordination and planning, relationship and stakeholder management, contractor travel and security processes, financial administration oversight, and the development of reports and assurance products.

Join the Smart Buyer and Independent Assurance Review Directorate and contribute to shaping the future of Defence capability delivery. The directorate provides governance, oversight and assurance for some of the nation’s most complex and strategically important projects. Using the Smart Buyer Framework, the team works with projects to tailor acquisition strategies and support the efficient and effective delivery of military capability. Our Independent Assurance Review team assess project health, identify key risks, and offer critical recommendations to senior decision makers.
