Overview
Step into a rewarding role as a Rural Generalist Occupational Therapist with the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. Based in the beautiful Limestone Coast region, this role offers flexibility to work from Mount Gambier or surrounding towns – including Bordertown, Kingston, Lucindale, Millicent, Naracoorte and Penola – by negotiation. Our team is well equipped with modern technology and telehealth infrastructure, allowing you to deliver high‐quality care to clients across the region.
You will work within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, including allied health professionals, nurses and medical staff. This role offers exposure to a broad scope of practice, the chance to consolidate your skills and opportunities to develop leadership, networking and professional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive OT services across hospital, community and aged care settings.
* Plan, implement and evaluate client‐centred programmes to improve functional capacity and quality of life.
* Provide guidance and support to students, allied health assistants and less experienced clinicians.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other service providers to ensure integrated, holistic care.
Who We're Looking For
* Occupational Therapist (AHP1/AHP2) with relevant registration and experience.
* Skilled in delivering diverse OT services in hospital, community and paediatric settings.
* Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgment and contribute to team development.
* Adaptable, flexible and passionate about supporting regional communities.
