The Opportunity is for an experienced mid-weight UX designer (freelancer) who can understand the needs of people, regardless of whether we label them users, customers, patients, or clients. This requires understanding the whole user journey - every touchpoint, both online and offline.
We're looking for someone who sees themselves as a mix of UX designer, strategist, and researcher. If you love getting into the weeds of business problems, customer empathy, behavioural and data insights, creative problem solving with Tech, Data and Design experts AND you can present your thinking and solutions in a compelling way, please read on.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and conduct user research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and competitor analysis.
* Analyse research data to identify key insights and trends.
* Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs.
* Contribute to the development of UX strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
* Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.
* Assist in defining information architecture and content strategy.
Additional Requirements:
* Collaborate with UI designers to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
* Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
* Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that UX principles are integrated throughout the product development process.
* Clearly communicate design decisions and research findings to stakeholders.
