About the opportunity
Based in Geraldton on a 8:6 roster ex Perth, Altrad are seeking experienced Project Engineers to support the delivery of a major structural remediation project, assisting in all facets of project execution. You will work closely with project managers, client stakeholders and site teams to ensure high standards of technical, planning, and compliance work, while contributing to safe, efficient, and timely project outcomes.
In this role you will:
* Manage subcontractors, develop scopes of work, and support project planning.
* Assist with project schedules, progress reporting, and forward planning to minimise delays.
* Prepare and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with standards, client requirements, and project procedures.
* Support procurement, material management, and the management of Technical Queries/RFIs.
* Assist construction teams with work packs, permits, lifting operations, and field coordination.
* Promote HSEQ compliance and contribute to a safe, quality-driven project culture.
About you
You’re a driven professional who works well with teams, adapts to change, and consistently delivers meaningful results.
You bring with you:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* 3+ years’ experience in project engineering within mining or heavy industry.
* Knowledge of Mining Standards, brownfield construction, and structural integrity works.
* Experience managing subcontractors and preparing quality documentation (ITPs, ITRs, FICs).
* Team player with proficiency in MS Office, Excel, P6 and standard project software.
* Knowledge and understanding of Building and Construction Tenders and Contracts, HSEQ Management Systems and safe OH&S and environment work practices.
