Live and work in paradise on the world's largest sand islandAbout the RoleWe are looking for a positive, motivated and professional Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island).
The Guest Service Agent is the frontline of our customer service team, responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience.
This is a permanent part-time position, and our ideal candidate will have resort/hotel front desk experience.
This is a live on island role where you work and live at Kingfisher Bay Resort.Role ResponsibilitiesGreet all incoming and outgoing guests to the resort – guest check in and check out process.Accurately allocate rooms.Welcome all guests in a professional and friendly manner.Directing all guests to the appropriate check in area.Coordinate, where required bus arrivals and guest arrivals.Manage phone calls in a timely and professional manner.Direct guests to rooms on arrivals.Be familiar with room rates and reservation information.Always provide accurate and information to guests.Maintain guest accounts, billing arrangements and payments on check out.Follow in house policies and procedures to maintain guest security.Take guest messages and ensure prompt delivery to room.Assist guests with all general enquiries.Skills, Qualifications & Experience RequiredExceptional time management skillsExcellent communication skillsExtraordinarily high level of customer service and work ethicDemonstrated experience in a similar role in a large Hotel or Resort based environmentDemonstrated experience in daily cashiering procedures, credit card reconciliationKnowledge of property management systemsDemonstrate people management skills and an understanding of cultural diversity within the workplaceThe Perks - conditions applyAffordable Island Living - includes accommodation, 3 daily staff meals, and Wi-Fi.Annual $1,000 SeaLink Employee Travel Allowance to help you explore.Exclusive Discounts: 25% off resort dining, bars, retail, and spaEmployee Training Programs: We're committed to your growth and development.Recognition Programs: Your hard work won't go unnoticed; we've got awards and programs to celebrate you
