Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to coordinate project activities, manage contracts, and oversee quality assurance throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and prioritise resources across multiple projects
* Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
* Manage procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
* Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
* Monitor project progress, costs, quality, budget, and risk
* Develop tenders and contract bids and negotiate with stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with legislation, safety standards, and company policies
* Submit plans to local authorities and manage inspections
* Lead and manage subcontractors, including supervision and performance
* Manage project changes and implementation to meet program goals
* Establish and manage project plans to achieve strategic outcomes
Skills and Experience
* Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or equivalent
* Minimum
3 years post-graduate experience
in project management or contract administration
* Experience managing high-rise residential projects valued over
$20M
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Proven experience managing subcontractors, programming, supervision, and contract administration
* Strong negotiation skills to manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
