Aircraft Technician / Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – AME Avionics, Darwin, NT
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with an inclusive team of technical experts undertaking aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP) and their customers on the ARH Tiger.
Responsibilities
* Conduct maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations
* As part of a team, undertake aircraft maintenance activities within your Quality Authorisations as directed by your supervisor, to ensure delivery of aircraft to meet the specified delivery schedule
* Ensure that all aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and performed, supervised, inspected and certified in compliance with either the Airbus Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) or 1 AVN MOE as applicable
* Identify new opportunities for enhancement of maintenance services
Qualifications
* Diploma Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
* High-level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
* Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
* Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
* Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2 is an advantage
Security & Health Requirements
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
