Role Description
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join our growing team in a full-time, on-site role based in either Brisbane or the Gold Coast, QLD.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns and managing monthly and quarterly compliance requirements. At Bloom Money, we take a highly hands-on approach—working closely with our clients to understand their businesses and provide proactive tax advice, including guidance on business structures and annual efficiency strategies as part of our service packages.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy ensuring compliance, thinking strategically, and advising clients on tax planning and broader financial decisions. You will play a key role in supporting business owners with financial planning, maintaining accurate records, and helping them make informed decisions for sustainable growth.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and proven experience in tax and accounting principles
* Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance, auditing, and adherence to financial regulations
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools, with solid Excel skills
* Experience in bookkeeping and advisory services is highly regarded
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses is highly desirable
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA (or equivalent) preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial matters clearly and confidently to clients
