Job Description
* Manage and oversee the monthly financial closure ensuring timely reporting and accuracy
* Analyze financial results to identify patterns, explain variances, and assess operational influences.
* Work closely with management teams to present financial findings and actionable insights.
* Prepare detailed reports to highlight cost behaviours and overall business performance metrics.
* Oversee cost accounting activities, including maintaining product costing data and conducting inventory assessments.
* Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by delivering precise analysis and meaningful commentary.
* Contribute to audit preparations and respond to both internal and external audit inquiries.
* Provide financial guidance and training to business stakeholders as required.
* Manage tax-related accounting entries and perform related reconciliations.
The Successful Applicant
* Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA qualification.
* Minimum 5 years in accounting role, preferably with a manufacturing business.
* Proficient in using large ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Netsuite
* Strong stakeholder management skills with an ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
* Commercially minded with solid analytical abilities.
* Self-starter who works well both independently and with cross-functional teams.
