About Us Talk It Up Speech Pathology is a locally owned and operated provider of quality speech pathology services. The business manager and owner is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with 24 years experience and employs a small team of clinicians and administration support staff.
Talk It Up Speech Pathology provides assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders predominantly for children, but also for some adults. It is a registered provider for Private Health Insurance groups, Medicare, Department of Veteran's Affairs and the NDIS.

Position Summary As the Speech Pathologist you are responsible for providing speech and language therapy, assessment and consultation.

Job Responsibility
Provide speech and language consultation and oversight of programs, to both therapist team and to clients
Provide speech and language therapy to clients within the program models.
Provide direct speech and language therapy, train and support clients to run goals and interventions
Administer speech and language assessments, develop and implement therapy plans for any speech and language referrals
Monitor, evaluate and review progress and therapy plans
Undertake appropriate professional development, including self-reflection
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs
Comply with all company policies and procedures
A commitment to meeting client and organisational expectations
Adopt and embrace company values and philosophy
Ensure the environment is kept in a safe and hygienic state at all times
Commitment to work as an effective team member
Promote the company and it’s interests to the local and wider community

We pride ourselves on having an experienced team, who are extremely supportive of each other, and staff morale is excellent. We have a full-time office manager providing administration support, making our days more productive with clients. You will have a generalist caseload and will work within a variety of settings, including the clinic, homes, schools and childcare centres. Clinicians plan their own schedules and are able to access regular clinical supervision and professional development opportunities, with a generous PD budget. You will be provided with a laptop, iPad and mobile phone. Travel allowance is provided and we have an extensive range of resources for you to access.
