Job Title:
Caregiver for Vulnerable Youth
* This role requires an individual with strong self-awareness, resilience and understanding of trauma to provide supportive care to vulnerable young people.
Main Responsibilities:
* To deliver high-quality care as part of a dedicated team.
* Implement best practice interventions and program guidelines to ensure child safety and well-being.
* Act as a positive role model in supporting young people's educational, social and recreational pursuits while fostering independence and life skills.
* Create a safe and nurturing home environment including managing household duties and providing nutritious meals.
Requirements:
* A strong team player able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively and maintain professional boundaries.
* Flexibility and adaptability to cope with unexpected change and multitask effectively.
* A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent qualification is required.
