Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a highly organised and proactive Clinical Support Officer to provide essential administrative support to our Nursing Unit Manager and clinical team.
This pivotal role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, helping our team deliver exceptional patient care.
As a CSO, you'll manage a variety of tasks including monitoring timesheets, processing leave requests, rostering, stock control, i-procurement, and data entry for audits and reporting.
You'll also provide secretariat support for meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, assist with recruitment processes, and ensure timely, accurate advice to managers.
This role requires initiative, problem-solving, and resilience in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities while supporting quality improvement activities.

What You'll be Doing
The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) role will be ward/unit based and provides a range of administrative and clinical support services to enable the ward to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, patient focused and effective manner.

Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
Demonstrated computer literacy including spreadsheets and database software in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and processes.
Demonstrated attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes.
Act as a role model and promote a positive culture by supporting practices that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with patients/clients/employees.
