Due to continuous business growth, the position of Trade Sales Team Leader is now available.
In this role you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team
- meet your individual KPIs monthly/quarterly and that of the team as a whole
- assist in the smooth running of trade sales section and its team
- contribute to training and development of staff
- achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organisation plans and objectives
- assist management to train and appraise individual team members to ensure targets are met
- assist management in developing plans for team sales activities to include sales strategy to achieve agreed targets/KPIs, effective search of leads/prospects, penetrate new markets
- prepare and agree individual action plans and targets for all team members
- assist in the development and preparation of the organisation's sales strategy and general business planning
- delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability, and review
- maintain contact with client/customers for feedback and to obtain client/customer satisfaction
- set an example for team members about commitment, sales activities, work ethics and adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
- interact and collaborate with all members of the organisation and its suppliers and clients/customers
- Keep up to date with the latest product developments
- Contribute to the continual improvement of the company culture
You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with management. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.
- Experience in a sales position and preferably with supervision/management responsibilities
- Previous experience in Electronic Security, TV/MATV, Audio Visual or Electrical Wholesale are highly desirable but not essential
- A natural team leader and can form strong and lasting relationships with staff and customers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite
- Have a great attitude, with a friendly and warm demeanour with clients
- Self-motivated and work well unsupervised
- Ability to work well under pressure and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and interpersonal skills
