We're seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the COO, you'll lead the HR function across 200+ employees and contractors, driving people strategy, compliance, and culture.
The Opportunity:
As Head of HR, you'll partner with leaders to design and deliver HR strategies that drive growth, engagement and compliance. You'll lead initiatives across culture, performance, onboarding, employee relations, and talent management, ensuring DiJones remains an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of HR strategy, frameworks, and policies aligned with business goals
* Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to deliver growth, retention, and engagement strategies
* Drive a strong, values-based culture across the organisation
* Oversee onboarding, compliance (licensing, CPD, contractors), and HR systems (Employment Hero)
* Provide expert advice on employee relations, award compliance, and workplace legislation
* Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, development, and succession planning
* Support leaders with performance management, remuneration, and recognition strategies
* Manage HR reporting, communications, and employee engagement programs
* Champion workplace health, safety, wellness, and EAP programs
* Partner with managers to build leadership capability and deliver training
* Contribute to change management and cultural transformation initiatives
About You:
You are a senior HR leader with a proven ability to drive people strategy and lead change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are commercially astute, people focused, and excel at balancing strategic vision with operational delivery. You will bring:
* Senior HR generalist experience with demonstrated success leading an HR function
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
* Strong understanding of employment law, award interpretation, and compliance
* Experience managing HR across geographically dispersed teams
* Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
* High level organisational, problem solving, and decision-making capability
* A collaborative and consultative leadership style
* Real estate HR/compliance experience (licensing, CPD, supervision) highly regarded
