About You
You are an experienced contaminated sites professional with strong technical acumen and a collaborative working style. You'll bring:
* 6–10+ years' experience in contaminated sites assessment, soil science, hydrogeology or related environmental fields.
* Knowledge, understanding, and demonstrated ability to apply the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 and the National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999 (NEPM).
* Experience as an Auditor Assistant is highly advantageous and highly favoured, particularly for candidates seeking to develop or progress an auditing pathway.
* Strong experience in contaminated site and asbestos investigations, including sampling, assessment, remediation, and long‑term monitoring.
* Experience managing and delivering projects, including scoping, scheduling, budgeting and client reporting.
* Strong communication and client‑engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and identify opportunities for value‑add.
* Technical excellence in preparing and reviewing reports, conceptual site models, sampling and analysis plans, and regulatory documentation.
* Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
* Familiarity with ESdat or similar systems, and enthusiasm for using digital tools, data analytics or innovative approaches to improve project delivery.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering, earth science or a similar field.
* Full legal working rights in Australia and a C‑Class Driver's Licence.
