Role Overview
This is a true hunter role, focused on building and scaling revenue for a newly established Victorian branch. You will take ownership of business development across metro and regional markets, targeting construction, infrastructure and project‐based customers. With significant untapped capacity and national support behind you, this role suits a driven sales professional who enjoys autonomy, momentum and the opportunity to shape a branch's success. For the right person, there is a clear pathway into future leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth across Victoria, with a strong focus on construction and infrastructure projects.
* Execute a targeted business development strategy, prioritising immediate opportunities while building a sustainable pipeline.
* Identify and convert opportunities across regional projects, road upgrades and major works, while maintaining key accounts.
* Work closely with internal logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and strong asset utilisation.
* Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting through CRM systems, supporting broader branch and national initiatives.
Skills and Attributes
* Proven experience in construction/industrial hire, construction services or asset‐based solutions.
* Strong new business capability with a genuine hunter mindset.
* Commercially astute, confident pricing, negotiating and protecting margin.
* Comfortable working autonomously, with strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Resilient, self‐motivated and energised by building something from the ground up.
