Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney is seeking a commercially driven
Partnership & Relationship Manager
to lead corporate business development, sponsorship acquisition and high-value partnerships.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on building pipelines, opening doors, pitching compelling partnership opportunities and securing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising & Marketing, you will lead RMHC Sydney's corporate partnerships program, driving new business growth while managing and mentoring a small, high-performing team.
Key responsibilities
* Lead new business development and build a sustainable corporate partnership pipeline
* Identify, prospect, pitch and secure new corporate, SME and foundation partners
* Own sponsorship acquisition across RMHC Sydney's major campaigns and events
* Develop tailored, value-driven partnership proposals aligned to corporate CSR objectives
* Manage and grow high-value partnerships ($50k+) with exceptional stewardship and impact reporting
* Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements and multi-year deals
* Represent RMHC Sydney at networking and industry events
* Lead, mentor and support two direct reports
* Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and pipelines in Salesforce
About you
You are a confident relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for purpose-led work. You bring:
* Proven experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship or B2B sales
* Strong pitching, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
* A track record of securing five-figure partnerships and sponsorships
* Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and close
* Leadership experience or readiness to step into a people management role
* Not-for-profit experience is desirable but not essential
