This is a unique opportunity for a Special Counsel to join a diverse team with the flexibility to specialise in your area of interest, whether it's Directors & Officers, Financial Lines, Construction Professional Indemnity, or maintaining a generalist focus. The firm strategically supports Partners in becoming specialists in their chosen fields, aligning with the firm's growth strategy.
You'll work directly with a Partner who ensures that every senior lawyer has a junior lawyer to assist them, providing you with the support needed so that you can focus on the more complex, high-value work. Not only is the Partner consistently recognised as one of Victoria's leading professional indemnity lawyers, but he is also incredibly down to earth.
The team is recognised for their high-level work acting for insurers, managing coverage disputes and defence actions involving professional negligence and malpractice claims, class actions, and public hearings for every type of professional across finance, accounting, construction, health, legal and property.
The firm's growth strategy focuses on appointing an individual who aspires to be recognised as an industry leader in either D&O, Financial Lines, or Construction. With abundant work across all areas of professional indemnity and sufficient generalist practitioners, the workload can be adjusted to accommodate the right person.
