What you'll be doing
To provide specialist palliative care support to patients, their families and health professionals.

About You
You are a highly skilled and compassionate palliative care nurse with current Nursing registration with AHPRA and more than three years of full‑time equivalent post‑graduate experience. Your clinical background reflects a deep commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients with life‑limiting illnesses and supporting their families with dignity, empathy, and professionalism.

You bring advanced knowledge and practical capability in specialist palliative care, including last‑days‑of‑life care, comprehensive pain assessment and management, symptom management across a wide range of life‑limiting conditions, and skilled facilitation of advance care planning conversations. Your clinical judgement is well‑developed, enabling you to undertake thorough assessments, formulate evidence‑based care plans, and deliver high‑quality clinical management tailored to individual needs.

You are confident and experienced in providing professional education in palliative care nursing. Whether supporting colleagues, mentoring junior staff, or contributing to broader education initiatives, you communicate complex concepts clearly and with authority.

You demonstrate a high level of communication skill, enabling you to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues. You work autonomously when required, yet you also thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing meaningfully to coordinated, holistic palliative care services.

You bring proven leadership experience, having previously taken on leadership roles where you guided teams, supported service improvement, and modelled professional excellence. Your leadership style is grounded in collaboration, integrity, and a commitment to high‑quality patient care.
