We have an exciting opportunity to take on the leadership of our Policy Team!
Reporting to the General Manager, Policy and Public Affairs, your role will :
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Policy Unit, supporting team development and performance.
* Develop and deliver policy and research projects aligned with ACEM’s Advocacy Strategy.
* Provide expert policy advice to the ACEM Board, CAPP and related committees.
* Monitor health policy developments in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to ensure timely responses.
* Prepare high-quality submissions, reports, briefings, and other policy documents.
* Oversee the development and review of ACEM’s standards, guidelines, and position statements.
* Collaborate across ACEM and support branches in policy and advocacy activities.
* Represent ACEM and engage with stakeholders through forums, consultations, and events.
* Advise senior leaders, including the General Manager, Executive Director, and CEO, on health policy issues.
