Paediatric Speech Pathologist Opportunity
This exciting opportunity is available for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join the Binji and Boori Service delivering high-quality assessment and intervention to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years across the Shoalhaven.
The service works with families from conception through to 5 years of age, offering early intervention to promote optimal child development and wellbeing. The position forms part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT) providing culturally safe, evidence-based care to young children with complex communication needs.
The successful applicant will work in close partnership with families, carers, and community supports using a holistic, family-centred approach and integrated into the Child and Family Speech Pathology team. Access to clinical supervision and support from experienced Speech Pathologists is also available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality assessment and intervention services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 0–5 years.
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and community supports to develop and implement individualised plans.
* Provide culturally sensitive and tailored interventions to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in speech pathology or equivalent.
* Eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
* Extensive postgraduate experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
* Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
