The role is an opportunity to contribute to the team at Taree Works Depot. This is a chance for experienced individuals who have worked in the civil construction industry before to join and make a real impact.

Key responsibilities will include undertaking manual laboring tasks, operating minor plant equipment and truck operations. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and construction duties in relation to roads, bridges and drainage.

This position requires holding a Current NSW class C Drivers license (or higher). A WorkCover accredited Construction Induction Card (White Card) including a demonstrated sound knowledge of Work, Health and Safety procedures is also necessary. Additionally, you must hold or be willing to obtain a Current approved Traffic Controller's Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Card. Experience on minor plant equipment is highly valued. The equipment includes rollers, tractor, slashers, trucks and watercarts.

Work Location: Your normal place of work will be the Taree Depot at Arkwright Crescent, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast region.
