Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician with extensive experience on construction equipment such as Compactors, rollers, IT, loaders, Moxy, GPS graders, water trucks. Cat, Komatsu, Hitachi, Bomag, Isuzu, Hino.
Duties and responsibilities
* Troubleshoot hydraulic or mechanical faults.
* Inspection of on hire and off hire equipment.
* Breakdown attendance.
* Build and maintain positive relations with customers, providing service and customer support during field visits, comprehending customer requirements and making appropriate recommendations.
* Conduct coaching and mentorship to technical teams.
* Carry out machine audits and provide detailed reports of equipment condition timeously.
* Liaise with logistics on consignment stocks in the warehouse to maintain good stock values.
* Perform machine audits and scanning.
* Preventive maintenance, planned component replacements, fault diagnostics and repairs.
* Ordering of spares.
Salary $65-$80/h depending on experience. Superannuation paid on all hours.
