**The Opportunity**:
We currently have an opportunity available for a Payroll Officer to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent basis.
Joining as the Payroll Officer you'll be responsible for delivering effective and seamless payroll support. You will ensure appropriate payment, disbursement, checking and reconciliation procedures are undertaken in a timely manner and in line with legislative requirements.

**About you**:
- Minimum of two (2) years' specific payroll experience preferably gained in a high volume work environment (500+ employees), including payroll processing, processing of termination pays, strong leave analysis and reconciliation skills, etc.
- Comprehensive understanding and effective use of standard software packages (particularly Microsoft Excel) and systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and interpretation of current legislation which directly effect the payroll function i.e. tax legislation.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a high-pressure environment.
- The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and balance conflicting workloads and demands.
