PROPERTY SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Raine & Horne Kingston – Tasmania
Real estate does not need to be a high-pressure sales environment.
At Raine & Horne Kingston we believe strong results come from professionalism, consistency and genuine client care. We operate as a supportive team where communication, integrity and reputation matter more than aggressive sales tactics. Our goal is to help our consultants build respected, long-term careers within the local community.
You will suit this role if you enjoy working with people, value guidance and structure, and want to develop your own client base while being part of a collaborative office environment rather than operating alone.
About the Role
You will manage residential property sales from appraisal through to settlement, supported by established systems, marketing and administration. You will not be left to figure things out alone — we provide practical guidance, mentoring and day-to-day support while you build your pipeline, profile and referral network.
This role suits someone who wants a genuine career in real estate and understands that success is built over time through relationships and service, not simply transactions.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct property appraisals and listing presentations
• Coordinate marketing campaigns and open homes
• Communicate with buyers and vendors
• Negotiate offers and contracts
• Provide regular feedback to clients
• Manage campaigns through to settlement
• Build referral relationships within the community
About You
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Professional presentation and reliability
• Comfortable speaking with people and building rapport
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Property Representative Licence
• Australian work authorisation
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required
Previous real estate experience is welcomed but not essential. Applicants from customer service, banking, hospitality or sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Remuneration
This position is remunerated by a recoverable retainer (draw against commission) plus commission.
The retainer provides consistent income support while you establish listings and pipeline and is offset against commissions earned. This is a genuine sales role and is best suited to someone motivated by performance-based earnings rather than a fixed salary position.
With training, support and consistent activity, a motivated consultant should reasonably expect their earnings to grow beyond the advertised range as their client base develops.
What We Offer
• Supportive team environment and mentoring
• Established brand and strong local reputation
• Administrative and marketing support
• Structured systems and processes
• Guidance from experienced agents
• Opportunity to build a long-term career and personal profile
Career Entry
Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful applicant obtaining a Property Representative Licence prior to commencement.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your background and interest in a real estate career. All enquiries will be treated in strict confidence.
