Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to plan and execute internal and external events across the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing every aspect of an event, from venue choice to success metrics and fostering a culture of feedback and improvement.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment
* Proven track record of creative, successful events
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning and execution of internal and external events
* Manage event budgets and timelines
* Comply with all national and local regulations
* Be the point of contact for all key events across the organisation
* Coordinate vendors and venues as required
* Hire/engage personnel as needed across all functions of an event
* Handle day-to-day administration of events, including order placements, vendor monitoring, travel planning, restaurant reservations, attendee participation, registration counts, RSVP tracking, and issues resolution
