Fennec Services Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join our growing team in Geebung, North Brisbane.
Role Overview This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate eager to build a career in project coordination and management. Working from our Geebung office, you'll be integral to our project delivery team, reviewing building designs, developing construction methodologies and detailed project schedules, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on track. You'll gain hands‑on experience with industry‑leading planning tools while working alongside our licensed builder, registered engineer and experienced project controllers.
Key Responsibilities
Design reviews and construction methodology development
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
QA Management across projects, ensuring technical specifications are complied with
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to gather planning information
Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect current site conditions
Prepare planning reports and identify critical path activities
Coordinate with project managers to optimize resource allocation
Conduct periodic site visits to verify progress, budget alignment, and schedule compliance
Support tender submissions with preliminary program development
Assist in analysing project delays and developing recovery schedules
Preplanning and scoping for large projects

Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Experience with or willingness to learn Primavera P6 or MS Project
Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project schedules
Able and willing to travel to remote project sites periodically (rarely required)
Based in or willing to relocate to North Brisbane/Geebung area
