About the role:
The Clinical Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology works to achieve the efficient and effective management of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit. The Clinical Director is responsible for clinical and strategic leadership, continuous monitoring and improvement of quality patient care, and risk minimisation. The role involves leading strategic planning for the department, including clinical and educational aspects, and overseeing overall operations.
What we are looking for:
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Medical Practitioner
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or equivalent
* Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing continuing professional development
* Extensive clinical practice experience in obstetrics and gynaecology
* Experience in clinical leadership, management, fostering a positive safety culture, and academic excellence
