The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced professional with process analytics and optimisation skills to deliver holistic solutions in our Brisbane-based optimisation team.
As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team comprising Designers, Instrumentation & Control System Engineers, and System Specialists, you will contribute a processing perspective to apply fit-for-purpose automation, control, and digital solutions that create value for clients.
Your responsibilities will involve:
* Engaging with customers as a client advocate to understand their operational problems and opportunities.
* Undertaking potential assessments to calculate the expected return on investment (ROI).
* Applying your operational experience to develop integrated solutions that span all layers of the automation pyramid to holistically solve client problems.
* Collaborating with Designers, Instrumentation & Control System Engineers, and Production System Specialists to design, specify, deploy, and sustain advanced process control solutions.
* Providing remote and onsite troubleshooting and technical support.
* Remaining at the forefront of process control technology and innovation.
To succeed in this role, we require:
* A degree in Metallurgy, Process, or Chemical Engineering with exposure to Process Control.
* Demonstrated experience in a metallurgical environment with process control, metallurgical accounting, and production reporting.
* International and consulting experience across various operations and commodities is preferred.
* The ability to balance competing priorities and business drivers across the operational value chain.
