Responsibilities
* Operate commercial washers, dryers and ironing machines in a safe manner
* Picking up, tagging and sorting of guest laundry and dry-cleaning
* Record quantity of packed items in the packing and delivery log books
* Spotting of garments for stain removal
* Wash and process staff uniforms
* Loading and unloading washing machines
Qualifications
* Previous experience within a hotel environment, or a similar fast-paced role
* A strong attention to detail with exceptional organisational and time management skills
* The ability to act consistently with clear ethics and values in accordance to confidentiality
* An understanding of safe lifting practices and occupational health and safety standards are essential
* Superior customer service skills alongwith the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team
* The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
* The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
