About The Role
As our Operations Team Leader (NT & TAS), you will lead and support the Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and Regional Exam Support and Workshop Delivery Officer in the Northern Territory & Tasmania (NT & TAS). Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will provide direct leadership to ensure successful team management and delivery of the GP Training Program. You will drive collaboration across the two regions, helping us work as one NT & TAS team while progressing towards a nationally consistent program model. A key focus will be building strong relationships with Medical Educators and other stakeholders, overseeing operational delivery, leading projects, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance service excellence. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll strengthen the quality and consistency of GP training across both regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead teams (Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers and Regional Exams Support and Workshop Delivery Officer) across NT & TAS.
* Manage and guide training support staff for high performance across NT & TAS.
* Enhance GP training processes, manage cases, and provide program advice.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
* Ensure the quality delivery of the GP Training Program across the region.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience leading teams in a training or service delivery environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship skills.
* Ability to drive process improvements and manage complexity.
* Experience in project and change management methods.
