About the Role
The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Industrial Technology & Design Teacher to join the secondary school teaching team. Experience or education in Manual Arts including Woodwork, Metalwork and/or Furnishing Skills is required. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students' lives.
The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging hands‑on learning experience to our Secondary School students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College.
Criteria
* Experience teaching Industrial Technology and Design specialising in Woodwork to secondary students
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification and current teaching registration
* Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programmes
* Highly developed classroom teaching skills
* Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
* Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
* Demonstrated well‑developed interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication
