Primary Teacher Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team at St Philomena's Catholic Primary School in Bathurst, NSW.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
The teacher will be expected to develop and implement engaging curriculum programs, utilizing effective teaching methods and strategies to promote student growth and development.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, the teacher will also contribute to school life by participating in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
* Develop and implement high-quality curriculum programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
* Assess and report student progress, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
* Use inclusive teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting equity and access to education.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and projects.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
* Contribute to school events, such as assemblies, parent-teacher nights, and other extracurricular activities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
Selection Criteria
The following selection criteria will be used to assess applicants:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
* Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute to a broad range of school activities and reflect on, evaluate, and improve professional knowledge and practice.
* Commitment to actively engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation.
* Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues based on mutual respect, patience, and understanding.
* Up-to-date knowledge of NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements for all stages in your KLA area.
