Residential Valuers Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Residential Valuer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our valuation team, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and independent valuations of residential properties.
You will work closely with clients to build and maintain relationships, provide expert advice, and complete site inspections and detailed property assessments. Your role will involve preparing comprehensive valuation reports that meet industry standards and client requirements.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of property valuation principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will also need to be able to stay up-to-date with property market trends and dynamics, and apply JLL's proprietary technology and data platforms in valuation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, providing expert advice
* Conducting accurate and independent valuations of residential properties
* Completing site inspections and detailed property assessments
* Preparing comprehensive valuation reports that meet industry standards and client requirements
* Applying appropriate valuation methodologies (direct comparison, income, cost approaches)
* Ensuring final reports meet all necessary IVS / API / IFRS reporting requirements
* Staying current with property market trends and dynamics
* Maintaining comparable databases
* Applying JLL's proprietary technology and data platforms in valuation processes
* Continuously improving valuation methodologies and approaches
* Sharing market knowledge and insights with colleagues
* Contributing to the collaborative culture of the valuation team
Key Skills Required:
* CPV Qualified
* Knowledge of property valuation industry
* Analytical skills
* Numerical/financial acumen
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work
* Confident user of Word and Excel
* Able to pick up and learn JLL internal systems and processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confident in liaising with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
