Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children aged 4 and above. About the Role: In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, intervention, and support to children and families. You will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues will be essential in ensuring seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assessment and Intervention: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.

* Clinical Supervision: Mentor and supervise junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in paediatrics.

* Education and Training: Design and deliver education sessions to promote evidence-based practice and skill development among generalist occupational therapists.

* Service Development: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of local service delivery models.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant qualifications as an occupational therapist, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and demonstrated experience in paediatric clinical practice. You will also require excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills, as well as high-level verbal and written communication skills.
