We are seeking a passionate and driven individuals who are hungry for career progression and want to take on the role of **Waiter - Food & Beverage Attendant.**
- We are hiring for multiple postions across regional Australian locations outside of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane._
**As our next Waiter - Food & Beverage Attendant, you will**:
- Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times.
- Ensure smooth and efficient food and beverage service within section as allocated by your manager, anticipating guest needs before being asked.
- Demonstrate the ability to upsell specials or items as directed by the Head of Department.
- Maintain and clean all equipment and stock, which is used to facilitate the service of food and beverage items to guests.
- Ensure strong product knowledge of the ingredients, method of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu and buffet.
- Strong product knowledge of all wine styles on the outlet wine list.
- Familiar with the cost of all food and beverage items sold.
- Process all charges associated with the service of food and beverage on the cashiering system and report any discrepancies to the Head of Department.
- Perform all opening and closing duties in the outlet as requested.
- Promptly report any maintenance work required in the proximity of the outlet to the Head of Department.
- Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints and provide accurate information to guests about Property facilities and features.
**What we are looking for**:
- Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous however not essential
- Passion and enthusiasm for work in the hospitality and food industry
- A valid RSA
- Exceptional organisation and communicative skills
- Australian working rights with the ability to work across a varied roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Base Hourly Rate: $22.77_
