Administration Support Officer (Maternal Child Health) - 4 days a week

Maintenance of accurate records and reporting requirements
Enhance customer satisfaction through effective administrative services and support
Assist in prioritisation and time management of workload for Team Leader and all MCH officers
Manage central booking system, Child Development Information System (CDIS), for Maternal and Child Health centre's
Process birth notifications daily
Coordinate calendars for MCH Nurse and Centre
Upload client test results and documents into CDIS
Assist with Maternal and Child Health reporting requirements
Review and update brochures and information materials as required
Administer Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (EMCH) referrals and bookings
Organise Maternal and Child Health meetings and sessions
Update nurse training requirements and oversee relevant documentation
Participate in ongoing education and training
Oversight of Maternal and Child Health Service Surveys and apply changes as required
Report new notifications of vulnerable children to MCH Team Leader and Community Development MCHN
Oversight of nurse training and conference bookings and requests
Manage CRM's and provide regular updates
Update TV Presentation with current events and news
Prepare requisitions / purchase orders and manage corporate credit card
Review and update policy and procedure documents
Oversight of updating publications, templates and resources
Summarise procedural changes and provide resources to assist with transitions
Coordinate logistics of Maternal and Child Health Service
Handle confidential enquiries including redirection from Child Protection workers
Review and update 12 Month Birthday cards and post to clients monthly
Provide backup support with Immunisation sessions and data uploading
Certificate in Business Administration or relevant experience in clerical/administration/reception role
Understanding of services provided by Council's Maternal and Child Health, Immunisation and Well-being, Health and Culture unit
Highly developed computer skills and ability to support other Council Officers in IT systems
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and commitment to continuous improvement
Demonstrated aptitude to resolve problems and think critically
Prior experience in or understanding of a clinical setting
Current Level First Aid or the ability to obtain
Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check or the ability to obtain
