THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking safety and quality‐conscientious Electrical Site Supervisor to join our team in Launceston on a permanent full‐time basis. We encourage applicants from Launceston and nearby areas to apply as well as those willing to relocate to apply.
In this role, you will:
* Lead a team to deliver safe, productive and quality electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial settings.
* Report project status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality when required.
* Maintain records of work‐in‐progress and communications in line with the project management methodology.
* Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities.
* Oversee PHE apprentices and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:
* Experienced leading a team made up of leading hands, electricians, other trades, apprentices and non‐trades people on industrial sites.
* Must be able to lead a team that maintains an excellent attitude to safety through leading by example.
* The ability to lead a highly productive team to meet project and company objectives.
* Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain long‐term client relationships.
* Enjoy problem‐solving.
* Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams and Excel.
* Quality Management experience.
* Budget management experience.
* Flexible and open to working away from home, as required by the company.
The successful candidate will have:
* Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
* TAS Electrical Licence
* High risk work licence with WP Class
* Working at Heights certificate within the past 2 years
* LVR/CPR certificate within the past 12 months
* White Construction Card
* C Class Drivers Licence
* Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
