About The Role
Are you a strategic digital communicator with a passion for health and research? Join the Florey and lead the development of our digital presence to connect with audiences and showcase world-class neuroscience research. As the Digital Communications Manager, you will drive the Florey’s digital strategy and manage our public website. You’ll collaborate across teams and with external partners to deliver engaging, accessible, and impactful digital experiences. This is a key role in shaping how we communicate our science and stories online.
What You'll Do
- Lead and implement digital strategies across Florey’s channels and assets.
- Manage the Florey public website, ensuring content is current, engaging, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with external agencies on website development and testing.
- Provide editorial guidance and oversee digital content workflows.
- Develop content aligned with brand, SEO, accessibility, and UX standards.
- Support and mentor content producers and researchers in digital publishing.
- Advise on accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Deliver insights and analytics to inform digital strategy.
What You Bring
- You’re a confident communicator and strategic thinker with qualifications in Communications/Marketing and extensive digital experience.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to create compelling digital content and manage brand reputation.
- Knowledge of digital tools (social media, analytics, EDMs) and accessibility standards.
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in health and research.
