Role Description/Criteria
Applications are invited for a full-time, contract position as a Classroom Teacher, which will commence on 27 April 2026.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the safety and wellbeing of children. A Child Safety Code of Conduct is attached.
The successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will be appropriately qualified and demonstrate enthusiasm and skills to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities. We are looking for a teacher who can provide care and support for students while supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment.
The key selection criteria are as follows:
* A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education.
* An ability to create and maintain a child-safe environment in which students feel safe.
* An ability to build positive relationships with all students and positive partnerships to engage families and the community.
* Strategies to cater effectively for a range of students' learning needs and adjustments to differentiate learning tasks.
* A strong vision for effective literacy and numeracy teaching, using MACS' 2030 Vision for Instruction.
* Purposeful use of Digital Technologies that enhance student engagement and learning.
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Special Requirements

* VIT registration is essential.
* Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or a commitment to undertake it.
