Summary
As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of facilities and equipment at Ocean Gardens. This role is hands-on and diverse, encompassing building maintenance, preventative programs, and responding to repair requests. You'll also supervise contractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and help maintain the high-quality living environment our residents deserve.

Responsibilities
* Perform building maintenance, including minor refurbishments like painting and general repairs.
* Manage a preventative maintenance program and respond to repair requests promptly.
* Maintain the village pool and oversee the servicing of vehicles such as utes, buggies, and tractors.
* Supervise contractors and ensure work meets required standards.
* Ensure the safe use and storage of chemicals and hazardous substances.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
* Support the organisation's Safety and Risk Management Program.

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in maintenance and handyman duties.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong knowledge of safe workplace practices and proper chemical handling.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to high-quality customer service.
* Basic computer literacy.
* A current driver's licence and National Police Check (not older than three months).
