About the role
We are seeking eager Bush Regeneration Team Members based on the Central Coast / Hunter Valley and required to work on new and existing projects throughout NSW.
The aim of this role is to restore the health, integrity, diversity and resilience of vegetation to a range of environments. You will be required to work on various project sites and undertake various revegetation and rehabilitation activities including the application of weed control tree planting and maintenance. We are currently working on various large-scaled Infrastructure projects within the Hunter Region which require attention for many years to come.
You will be required to have the following:
* Eagerness to learn about bush regeneration, plant and weed species identification, and report writing.
* Studying or have Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management, Bush Regeneration or similar;
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* NSW Drivers Licence
* Current ChemCert qualifications highly regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to operate a range of small plant & equipment e.g. brushcutter, chainsaw, auger and maintenance equipment.
* Physical fitness, self-motivation and ability to function in a team environment;
* Practical knowledge of work, health and safety practices and procedures,
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* High Level of initiative
* First Aid certificate is highly regarded
