Support Assistant Role
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Support Assistant. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the efficient delivery of client services within our Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology and Occupational Therapy departments.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling client appointments, managing medical records, providing administrative support, and collaborating closely with managers, therapists, clients, students, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate and schedule client appointments.
* Confirm appointments with clients and provide necessary instructions.
* Assist with client onboarding and ensure funding agreements are in place.
* Support billing inquiries and payment methods alongside the Funding Operations team.
* Organize and maintain electronic and paper medical records per department policies.
* Provide administrative assistance to Allied Health professionals including document preparation and inventory management.
* Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have a strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal ability. A valid C Class driving licence is also required.
