About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist / Administrator to join Evawell Group on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to work across both Kera Dermatology and Evallies Clinical Rooms, gaining experience in two specialist medical environments within one integrated group.
Staff are trained to support both brands and will be rotated through different roles and responsibilities on a weekly basis, helping to keep the work varied, engaging and adaptable while building a broad skill set across dermatology and psychiatry administration.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a vibrant professional environment, values patient care, and takes pride in being highly organised, calm and detail-oriented.
This role will commence on-site in Malvern East in February 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Administration Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Welcoming patients and visitors in a professional, friendly and discreet manner
* Managing patient enquiries via phone and email with empathy and confidentiality
* Scheduling and coordinating appointments across dermatology and psychiatry services
* Ensuring all patient documentation is completed accurately and uploaded to medical records
* Processing billing and payments, including Medicare and DVA claims where applicable
* Managing deposits, appointment confirmations and recalls
* Coordinating follow-up and procedural bookings to support continuity of care
* Providing administrative support to clinicians to ensure smooth clinic flow
* Preparing, reviewing and sending correspondence to referring doctors and healthcare providers
* Uploading and managing clinical photography and documentation as required
* End-of-day reconciliation and administrative checks with strong attention to detail
* Maintaining a clean, organised and professional front-of-house environment
* Prioritising tasks effectively in a fast-paced specialist setting
About You
You will be well suited to this role if you:

Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in medical reception or administration
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Confidence using medical software and office systems
* Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of patient care
Experience in dermatology, psychiatry or other specialist medical practices is highly regarded but not essential.
