As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with fortnightly and monthly payroll processes across Australia and New Zealand.
Key tasks include preparing and processing payrolls, reviewing and processing accounts payable, and reconciling payroll accounts to the general ledger. Additionally, you will assist with financial reporting and administration of expense management systems and company credit cards.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparation and processing of fortnightly and off-cycle pay
* Process timesheets, salary variations, leave applications, staff movements, and update employee records
* Review and process accounts payable for wage-related invoice payments and third-party licence fee payments
* Assist with financial reporting, including payroll journals and month-end reporting
* Reconcile payroll accounts to the general ledger
You will also provide administrative support as needed and answer payroll enquiries.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator
* Understanding of superannuation legislation
* Knowledge of taxes and payroll legislation in various Australian states and/or New Zealand
* Experience with salary packaging
* Excellent time management and numerical skills
A certification in Accounting or Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
