At TFE Hotels, we're reimagining hospitality in more than 75 hotels across eight countries. As we expand into new destinations and strengthen our existing portfolio, we are seeking a Regional People and Capability Manager based in Brisbane or Perth.
You'll support and advise our 13 Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia and Tasmania hotels, working with the regional leadership team and as part of the ANZ People team. You'll provide hands-on, trusted, collaborative HR support across the full employee lifecycle, balancing day-to-day delivery with longer-term people initiatives. Highly visible and well-connected, you thrive when building strong relationships and supporting leaders through daily people matters and complex challenges. You're passionate about culture, building capability, and aligning people practices with business priorities.
Day to day, you might find yourself:
partnering with Managers to resolve sensitive issues or complaints, performance matters, disciplinary issues, grievances and conflicts
coaching Managers through difficult conversations
managing organisational change and consulting on everything from hotel openings, acquisitions, transitions and restructures.
delivering team member lifecycle and value-add people projects.
supporting our Safety and Wellbeing team with local issue management and compensation claims and localised wellbeing initiatives.
concocting plans for talent growth, engagements and operational excellence
coaching leaders through performance reviews, talent reviews and succession planning for their teams
leading and modelling the continued commitment to a flexible, welcoming and supportive culture
partnering with L&D on development and training programs, including training compliance and running sessions where needed.
About you:
Your proven experience in a similar organisation, backed by a formal qualification in HR, Business or Commerce, helped you build strong stakeholder management skills and a service focus. Flexible, autonomous and a strong team player, you're a thoughtful contributor and an influential advisor to senior leaders. You're familiar with a broad range of employment legislation and comfortable engaging with suppliers, internal clients and global team members.
